- sShadoworkSs is a music company from Cape Town, South Africa, combining label, management, booking, and licensing of their artists with a range of services since the mid 2000's.
Affiliated with (and digitally distributed by) African Dope Records, the sShadoworkSs roster consists of a stable of linked electronic, urban and jazz artists who combine to form different groups. This modular format allows sShadoworkSs to mix and match line-ups and musical themes for different event and tour requirements.
In May 2007, sShadoworkSs debuted as a record label with the release of Sibot's second album release (distributed on CD in South Africa by Soul Candi Distribution and in Europe by Lowlands).
The label also releases the free limited edition compilation series Comparing Notes, distributed at the bi-monthly events of the same name showcasing Cape Town electronic music.
